Veterinary emergencies, Oeiras
For our friends at all times. Total availability.
Because it doesn’t matter if our day was good or bad. They’re always there.
Always with the same availability, always with gentleness, always able to bring a smile to your face at the slightest slip.
Whatever happens, our pets are always there for us. And that’s why at Vet.Point we’re always there for them.
Whatever the day or time, we always have a team of professionals ready for any kind of emergency.
From life-threatening medical/surgical treatment for animals suffering from trauma, shock, dehydration, acute pain, fractures, serious wounds, herniated discs, vomiting or severe diarrhoea, convulsions, haemorrhages and poisoning.
Just as important as providing immediate assistance in an emergency is detecting it.
Sometimes we tend to let a little time pass to see how our best friends react. It’s normal to think this way. We all have bad days, even them. Still, don’t put it off until the next day. Contact us and ask any questions you may have.
We can, however, point out some of the most obvious signs of illness, which you really shouldn’t risk waiting for the next day to see.
- Sudden changes in behaviour, movement and posture should be taken into account.
- Signs such as constant vomiting or diarrhoea should also be taken into consideration.
- Other signs such as: significant weight loss, blood loss, excessive hair loss, tremors, convulsions, swollen abdomen, eye or nasal discharge, changes in appetite and in the way they urinate or defecate. They should be taken very seriously.
Lembre-se que eles não se queixam da mesma forma que nós. É preciso ter atenção redobrada .
And as important as everything else, try to stay calm in the event of an emergency.
